Mount Saint Mary College Athletics

Senior midfielder Melissa Guillemette scored the game-winning goals in both of the Knights' wins in a 2-1 first week of the season. She scored the lone goal against Vassar in the 71st minute, leading the Knights to their first win over the Brewers in nearly 22 years. She then followed that up with a first-half goal against Principia College in the first game of the UT-Dallas Comet Cup, eventually leading to another 1-0 victory. After a career year in 2014, Guillemette is on pace to set new career-highs in 2015.

The Knights look to bounce back from Sunday's 3-0 loss to UT-Dallas when they return home to play Stevens Institute of Technology on Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 5:30 p.m. at Kaplan Field.
