Sophomore captain Chris DelVecchio set a new outdoor track and field program record on Friday by running the 10,000-meter run in 36:04.94, defeating the previous record by nearly 30 seconds.

DelVecchio was also honored by the Mount Saint Mary College Department of Athletics, Recreation and Physical Education by being named the 2014-15 Male Knight of the Year at the annual Mount Saint Mary College Athletics Award Ceremony, held on Thursday, April 30, in the Hudson Hall Auditorium.
