Senior catcher Stephanie Karcher hit .471 and slugged .853 across 12 games this past week, as the Knights went 10-2 and clinched the Skyline Conference Regular Season Title. She hit two doubles, a triple and three home runs, knocked in 10 runs and scored 14 runs in a highly impressive week. Her three home runs this week put her at 19 in her career, giving her back the program career record that she lost last year. She had a hit in 11 of the Knights' 12 games, including five multi-hit contests. She is batting an impressive .430 on the season with 21 RBIs and 27 runs scored.
With the Skyline Regular Season Title in hand, the Knights get one final tune-up before heading into tournament play. The Knights will take on John Jay College in a non-conference doubleheader on Tuesday, April 21, at Randall's Island Field 16. First pitch of the doubleheader is set for 3 p.m.
