Mount Saint Mary College Athletics

Sophomore forward Alex Smith recorded three double-doubles in three games this week, as the Knights went 1-2. He scored 16 points and grabbed 16 rebounds in the Knights' 66-63 overtime victory over Purchase College on Tuesday. He followed that up with a 12-point, 10-rebound performance in Thursday's loss at Farmingdale State College. He then scored 11 points and pulled down 11 boards in the Knights' loss to the College of Mount Saint Vincent on Saturday. He averaged 13.0 points and 12.3 rebounds per game for the week.

The Knights will look to regain some momentum for the stretch run when they take on Sarah Lawrence College in Skyline Conference action on Wednesday, Feb. 11. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
