Freshman forward Bridget Kelly reached double-digit rebounds for the second time this season in the Knights' 71-63 New Year's Eve win over Mount Ida College. She grabbed a team-high 10 boards, six off the offensive glass, and just missed a double-double with eight points to help fuel the Knights to victory. She currently leads the Knights with 7.0 rebounds per game, and also has a team-best four blocks on the season.
After their New Year's Eve conquest, the Knights gear up for the start of their Skyline Conference schedule in their first matchup of 2015. They will host the College of Mount Saint Vincent at the Kaplan Center on Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
