Freshman guard Tyler McDine turned in the best effort of his rookie campaign thus far on Tuesday, leading the Knights to an 80-73 victory over Marywood University. He scored a season-high 20 points on an efficient 6-of-8 (75 percent) shooting. He also grabbed five rebounds, dished out three assists and picked up a pair of steals. He was good on 6-of-6 jumpers in the game, including his only three-point attempt. 
The Knights halted their losing streak at four games and closed out the 2014 calendar year with a win. They will next play on Wednesday, January 7, 2015, when they host SUNY Canton at 3 p.m. in the Kaplan Center.
