Freshman Carlos Valdez averaged 21.0 points and 10.0 rebounds during a 1-1 week for the Blue Knights. He had 24 points and 11 boards during a victory over Bard College on Thursday and then totaled 18 points and 9 rebounds against St. Joseph’s College on Saturday. The freshman shot 64.3-percent from the floor in the two games.
