Sophomore guard Marisa Delzio had a solid week as the Knights went 1-1 in their return to the Kaplan Center. She averaged 15.0 points, 4.0 assists, 3.0 steals and 3.5 rebounds per game in an impressive first two games in front of the home crowd. She scored a season-high 17 points on Tuesday in the Knights' 59-54 victory over Hunter College, adding four assists and three steals. She followed that up with 13 points and another four assists and three steals in the Knights' 67-61 defeat at the hands of Manhattanville College on Friday. She leads the Knights with 10.5 points, 3.5 assists and 2.3 steals per game across the team's first four games of the 2014-15 campaign.
The Knights get back to work on Tuesday, Nov. 25, when they take on SUNY New Paltz for the second time this season. They play the later game of a men's and women's basketball doubleheader at the Hawk Center, tipping off with the New Paltz women's basketball team at 7 p.m.
