Freshman defender Destiny Ribadeneyra compiled three points over two games while playing excellent defense as the Knights advanced to the finals of the Skyline Conference Championship tournament for the fifth consecutive season. She tallied her eighth assist of the season in the Knights' 6-0 victory over The Sage Colleges in Wednesday's semifinal matchup. She blasted a beautiful 45-yard goal in Saturday's championship game, firing from the far left wing and finding the top-right corner of the net to beat the keeper and tie the game early in the first half at 1-1. Earlier in the week, Ribadeneyra was named to the 2014 Skyline All-Conference First Team.

The Knights fell to top-seeded Farmingdale State College in Saturday's championship game by a score of 2-1. The Knights had a conference-best five members of the All-Skyline First Team and finished with six total All-Conference Team honorees.
