Junior Sam Watson was a standout for the Knights, as the men's swimming team defeated Drew on Saturday, 156-90, in its first dual-meet of the season. He picked up victories in the 100-yard backstroke (1:00.22) and the 200-yard backstroke (2:18.70). He swam the first leg of the 200-yard medley relay, which the Knights won with a time of 1:48.15. He also tallied a second-place finish in the 200-yard IM (2:16.75).
The Knights will next swim on Saturday, Nov. 8, at Kings College (Pa.) in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. The meet is set to begin at 1 p.m.
