Ellen Hendricks had a perfect week for the Knights, who went 1-1 with a 6-3 loss to Sarah Lawrence College on Friday and a 9-0 shutout victory over the College of New Rochelle on Sunday. Hendricks was victorious at No. 6 singles on Friday, winning a 6-1, 6-1 decision over Sarah Lawrence's Arianna Cooper. She and doubles partner Mallory Menneci also defated Cooper and Monika Spancheska at No. 3 doubles, 8-2. The pair came out on top in third-flight doubles again on Saturday, defeating New Rochelle's Kelly Ball and Marie Gomez, 8-1. Hendricks closed out a perfect week with a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 6 singles over Lisa Alcius. She is now 4-3 in singles play and 5-2 in doubles play on the season.
The Knights will host SUNY New Paltz in their next match on Friday, Oct. 3, at 5:30 p.m. on the Mount Saint Mary College Tennis Courts.
