Mount Saint Mary College Athletics

Junior defender Nicole Scicutella totaled eight points on four goals and four assists in a 1-1 week for the Knights. She scored three times and assisted two goals for a five-point game in a tough 18-17 loss on Monday at Marywood University. She also scooped up four draw controls, picked up a ground ball and caused a turnover in the game. Scicutella scored a goal and handed out two assists in the Knights' 18-4 win over The Sage Colleges on Wednesday. She added a ground ball and a draw control as well. She now has 25 points, 30 draw controls and 30 ground balls on the season.

The No. 3-seeded Knights are destined for a Skyline semifinal matchup with No. 2 St. Joseph's College (L.I.) after the Golden Eagles lost to Farmingdale State College on Wednesday. The Knights and Golden Eagles will face off in Patchogue, N.Y. on Wednesday, April 23, at 6 p.m. No. 1 Farmingdale State will host No. 4 College of Mount Saint Vincent next Wednesday at 4 p.m.
