Mount Saint Mary College Athletics

Freshman attacker Katie Gattoni scored 12 goals on 15 shots and added a pair of assists in a 2-1 week for the Knights, earning her Skyline Conference Women's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week honors for the second time. She tallied three goals on Tuesday in the Knights' 14-2 rout of Maritime College. She registered a career-high eight points—including six goals—in a 17-4 victory over Ramapo College on Thursday. She added three more goals in the Knights' 17-11 loss to Farmingdale State College on Saturday. Gattoni scooped up five ground balls throughout the week as well.
 
The Knights look to get back on track after Saturday's loss on Tuesday, April 8, when they take on Bard College in non-conference action. The game is set to begin at Bard at 7 p.m.
