Freshman attacker Katie Gattoni scored six goals on 12 shots and added four ground balls, two caused turnovers, one assist and a draw control in a 2-1 week for the Knights, earning her Skyline Conference Women's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week distinction. She had a goal and an assist in their 19-7 loss to Vassar College on Tuesday. She tallied three goals in the opening half on Thursday in the Knights’ 20-4 victory over Manhattanville College. Gattoni netted a pair of goals and added two ground balls on Saturday, as the Knights defeated SUNY College at Old Westbury, 18-5.
The Knights’ next scheduled game against Green Mountain College on Tuesday, March 25, has been postponed, so the Knights will next play on Saturday, March 29, at the College of Mount Saint Vincent in a Skyline Conference matchup. The game is set to begin at 2 p.m.
