Mount Saint Mary College Athletics

Senior forward Donte Howell put in a great week to help the Knights go 3-0 in their last week of the regular season. Howell averaged 15.7 points, 3.3 assists and 3.3 rebounds across the Knights' three victories. He scored 14 points and dished out four assists in a 75-45 victory over SUNY College at Old Westbury Monday evening. He then turned in a 17-point, four rebound, three assist effort on Wednesday in a 63-37 win at Yeshiva University. He finished up the week with 16 points, four rebounds and four assists in the Knights' 69-58 win over Farmingdale State College on Saturday. He is averaging 13.6 points and 4.7 assists at regular season's end.

The Knights will host a Skyline Conference Championship semifinal matchup Thursday evening at the Kaplan Center. They will face the winner of Tuesday evening's Farmingdale State-St. Joseph's (L.I.) quarterfinal matchup. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m.
