Mount Saint Mary College Athletics

Senior forward Rachel Perrone had another outstanding week for the Knights, averaging 23.5 points and 11 rebounds across two games in a 1-1 week. She scored 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in Wednesday's 73-51 loss to the College of Mount Saint Vincent. She stepped her game up on Saturday to the tune of 26 points and 12 boards in the Knights' 80-65 win at NYU-Poly. These were here seventh and eighth double-doubles of the season. Since Jan. 18, Perrone is averaging 21.4 points and 11.3 rebounds per game and is averaging 16.2 points and 10 rebounds per game this season, both team highs.

The Knights return to action tonight, Feb. 17, with a non-conference matchup against Baruch College. Tip-off from the Kaplan Center is set for 6 p.m. as part of a doubleheader with men's basketball vs. SUNY College at Old Westbury immediately following.
