Junior Alissa Niad won both of her matches on Sunday as the Knights defeated Sarah Lawrence, 5-4, to earn the team's first win of 2013. After pairing with Jaimee Lubniewski for an 8-0 victory at first doubles, the entire match would wind up on Niad's racket during a three-set match at second singles. She lost the opening set, 6-4, but rallied to win the next two, 6-4 and 6-2, to claim the individual win and send the Knights to the team victory.
