Senior Carlos Valdez averaged 19.0 points and 12.0 rebounds as Mount Saint Mary completed a 2-0 week. After totaling 16 points/8 rebounds in a Skyline win over Yeshiva, Valdez tallied 22 points and 16 boards in a non-conference win over John Jay. The senior shot 57.7-percent from the field in the two contests.
