Senior Jen Mocanu averaged 14.3 points per game to help Mount Saint Mary to a 2-1 start. Mocanu was spectacular in the season opener against New Paltz, almost single-handedly carrying the Knights to a 62-47 win. Mocanu hit on 10-of-19 from the floor for a game-high 26 points. She also scored her 1,000th career point against the Hawks.
