Mount Saint Mary College Athletics

Freshman Stat Willand completed a perfect week to lead the Knights to a 3-0 record.  Willand won two of his three singles matches in three sets, using a super tiebreaker to defeat NYU-Poly (6-3, 4-6, 10-7) and a traditional third set to edge Purchase (7-5, 5-7, 6-4).  He also teamed with Greg Jacob for three wins at first doubles.  They capped the week with a 9-8 (7-5) win over Purchase's number one team.
