Mount Saint Mary College Athletics

Freshman Kaylene Pennings boosted the Mount to a perfect 3-0 week against Skyline Conference opponents and a continued hold on the top spot in the standings at 7-0.  Pennings totaled 41 kills in three matches, an average of 3.15 per set, to go along with an attack percentage of .419.  Against Farmingdale on Saturday, the freshman recorded 16 kills without an error as the Knights prevailed in five sets.  Also on Saturday against St. Joseph's, Pennings racked up 16 kills and 10 blocks to set a new school record.
