NEWBURGH, N.Y. – Junior Michael D'Ambrosio of the men's swim team and senior forward Brianna Guglielmo of the women's basketball team have been named this week's Knights of the Week.
 
D'Ambrosio earned two first-place finishes in the 50 Yard Backstroke (36.70) and the 100 Yard IM (1:02.65) in the Knights meet at SUNY Delhi. The following day, he came away with three second-place finishes in the 100 Yard Backstroke (1:02.31), 200 Yard Backstroke (2:22.05), and the 200 Yard IM (2:21.10) while also helping the team place second in the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay.

Guglielmo earned Skyline Conference Player of the Week honors and averaged a double-double this past week, posting extremely efficient numbers, leading the Knights to a 2-0 start in Skyline Conference play. In two wins over Yeshiva and Sarah Lawrence, Guglielmo averaged 20.5 points, shooting 51.9% from the field, 45.5% from three, and 88.9% from the line, 10.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 3.5 steals. She is currently riding a 3-game double-double streak heading into a match-up with Old Westbury on Tuesday.
